Student success drives programme growth. MathRiders, the innovative maths enrichment programme developed by the Helen Doron Educational Group, is gaining momentum in Poland — with 8 additional Learning Centres and 3 new Learning Studios scheduled to open this year.
Malgorzata Grymuza, Master Franchisor for Mazowieckie Voivodship will more than double the number of MathRiders franchises for the Warsaw area this year. MathRiders, the Helen Doron Educational Group maths tutoring programme has, to date, 1600 students in Poland who have ALL progressed in their studies and improved their maths comprehension. The MathRiders curriculum for students ages 4-18 is designed to strengthen academic skills and boost self-confidence by helping students to achieve success in maths.
From maths strugglers to maths lovers, students learn in an optimal learning environment with individualized learning plans to meet each student’s learning needs and small group instruction for 5-8 students. The MathRiders group experience encourages students to discover math insights, organize their thought processes, and develop self-evaluation capabilities and social skills.
This autumn will see the opening of eight MathRiders franchises throughout Poland in Białołęka, Bemowo, Gdynia, Lublin, Srodmiescie, Targówek and Ursynów and Wroclaw. Jozefow, Zabki and Zyradow will also benefit from new MathRiders Learning Studios opening in their communities. The Learning Studio franchise model brings programming to areas with up to 25,000 inhabitants, whereas the standard Learning Centre franchise serves areas with populations of 50,000–100,000. Alicja Zwara, a MathRiders teacher and new Learning Studio franchisor enthusiastically supports the programme. She says,” Our results show success. I do believe that the MathRiders method is a really great tool for Polish children; it not only helps them succeed in maths but that it also challenges the stereotype that maths are only for gifted. MathRiders truly helps youth expand horizons and opportunities for their futures.”
Lori Hadari, Business Development and Account Manager for MathRiders commented, “A need for additional maths programmes to complement public school curriculum has been firmly established, and MathRiders makes maths an exciting part of everyday experience, giving students the tools necessary to achieve better grades in school. We are delighted that both parents and teachers have seen the results and benefits of MathRiders, creating new opportunities for the franchise to develop throughout Poland, and beyond.”
