Teacher training courses

Comprehensive teacher training is the backbone of the MathRiders programs. Our courses provide you with a sound theoretical background in mathematics, plus plenty of hands-on practical experience using our teaching methods and innovative learning materials.

• MJT1: Mathjogs Training 1. If you are interested in teaching children ages 4 to 8
• MJT2: Mathjogs Training 2. Graduates of MJT1 who wish to teach children to age 11
• MRT: MathRiders Training. If you are interested in teaching students ages 11 to 18

Upon completion of the relevant TTCs, you will be awarded a MathRiders teaching certificate, and be ready to embark upon your exciting new career as a qualified MathRiders teacher.

Exercise and management software:

Math exercises for student's ages 11 to 18 are done through printed workbooks to be augmented by the MathRiders' computer application on the 'My-MathRiders' online network, scheduled for launch in 2008.

Our exclusive MathRiders computer software stores student's work for easy shared teacher/student access. You'll get one-touch monitoring, analysis, and progress reports on student's work and activities. Plus you can give and receive important feedback, and check and assign homework online at any time.

Information management system:

MathRiders administration is managed solely online. That really cuts down on time-consuming clerical tasks, so you're free to concentrate on real teaching!

Downloadable materials:

Most MathRiders learning materials are downloadable for your convenience. We provide a large and varied resource library of activities, specially designed for the enrichment of both students and teachers alike.
