MathRiders Individual Progress Program
- Mapping and assessment: The student's progress is monitored carefully throughout the years. Accurate evaluations are compiled regularly to ensure that each student is learning at the appropriate level, and according to the most current personalized program for his or her needs.
- Lesson updates: Math subjects are carefully tracked and additional sub-categories identified. Questions are examined such as - was the work completed within the time frame set out by the student, and what was the student's feedback? The teacher's insights and conclusions are documented to help construct updated lesson plans and introduce new material.
- Troubleshooting: Teachers keep an eye out to identify potential problems before they begin. Student's skill levels in various Math subjects are probed with the full cooperation of the student - never in a judgmental fashion. Both student and teacher work side by side to decide how to bring about an improvement, and to set new goals for achievement.
- School calendar: A practical schedule is created to help students organize the demands of their regular school work in Math. They can target certain dates for quizzes, tests or special projects due, making sure their MathRiders lessons offer the best chance for success. In this way students learn to plan, think ahead and never feel pressured.
