How is the MathRiders Learning System Structured?
The MathRiders system incorporates 4 different aspects of structured learning within each lesson. This gives students the most advantageous environment for successful learning.
All MathRiders lessons combine elements of:
- Enrichment Exercises
Part of MathRiders lessons are dedicated to enrichment. Challenging Mathematical concepts are explored using a wealth of innovative materials in an encouraging environment where personal attention and assistance are in abundance. Logic and problem solving skills are cultivated to create a sharper more flexible mind.
- Refresher Exercises
Part of MathRiders lessons are dedicated to review. We get students properly motivated and feeling confident about their abilities by going over material learned previously. They're up for the next challenge because they have a firm understanding to base it on. Student's catch-up with their required grade level Math-work and even surpass it.
- Group Activities
Part of MathRiders lessons are dedicated to group learning. Studying in a small group with others can be a real boost to learning. It helps students think out loud, share ideas, and learn from one another. What students say about their own group learning experience:
