How are the MathRiders lessons structured?

MathRiders lessons proceed in easy steps, each presented in a way that is innovative, interesting, challenging, and fun. Math concepts and skills are revisited from various points of view, allowing students to master each skill as they are able. Our goal is the development of a genuine understanding and love of the subject matter.

Lessons consist of 3 parts:

1. Group introduction session, which may include themes such as:
   • Mathematical enrichment
   • Learning techniques
   • Self-motivation exercises
   • Individual and group leadership skills
2. Personal workout program which includes:
   • Homework review and feedback
   • Practice in specially developed exercise books
   • Personal teacher assistance
   • Group guidance and team activities
3. Group conclusion session, which may include activities such as:
   • Results from the practice session
   • New mathematical concepts and ideas
   • Motivational discussions and exercises
